Hi all. I have a few Harry Potter type things on my desk, but I want the ultimate thing to be the clock on the wall. For those of you who know the books and movies, you will know that Mrs. Weasley has a special grandfather clock in her house that she has charmed to let her know where her family is at all times.
I am looking for help with what to put where the numbers are. I know of the following things…
- travelling
- at school
- lost
- mortal peril (which I know is at 12:00)
- work
- time to feed the chickens
but I know there are more. If anyone can help with that list of stuff that is on her clock, I’d be forever grateful!

Thanks!
K - got the two listed below. Anyone have any other ideas for good ones? Magical ones, ya know!

DIY clock question?

I am 16 and am in the process of redoing my bedroom. I know this is probably pointless to ask because most likely no one will know how, but it’s worth a shot. :]

Alright.. so i’m looking for a clock that i can build myself. Whether this may be a kit of some sort or buying separate parts, i’d like to build it on my own. Now the thing about this idea is I do not want to mount my clock to a frame with a glass/plastic covering like most clocks. I actually want to mount each indvidual number and hand directly to my wall.
If you know of ways to do this, please let me know! I’ll take any advice you might have. Links are also very appreciated. Thanks!!

This is the look I am hoping to achieve:

Weird coincidences. what are the chances?

I have a freaky story to tell y’all… feel free to share some of your own :)
So here it goes… when my mother was giving birth to me there was an analog clock on the wall of the ward which was broken + stuck on 8 minutes past 6. When my mother gave birth to me the doctor came and told the time of my birth… 6:08pm. My dad asked ‘are you sure you didn’t read it off that broken clock?’ and it turned out he had read it off a working clock. Freaky, huh? I mean, its like the broken analog clock predicted when i was gonna be born… although as it was analog, it could’ve broken on 6:08am, as even a broken clock gets to be right twice a day…

this has been bugging me recently.. im very pessimistic (if you look back at my other posts from years ago) with philosophical thoughts and always jump to the worst conclusions. in this case, i think i must be too lucky or special to be ordinary with this happening, and i know that’s narcisstic, but seriously, this is what philosophical thoughts do to me, what are the chances..?

i’ve had a number of other weird coincidences in life as well, and thinking about them just scares me sometimes.. what can i do to stop being so pessimistic and coming up with questions like ‘why am i so special’ when i don’t wanna be special and i want to be in control of my own life..?
